The Association of International Banks is organizing a seminar with guest speaker Mr Neophytos Neophytou, Managing Partner of Ernst & Young in Limassol. The topic of the seminar is “Latest Tax Developments in Cyprus of Interest to the Banks”. The seminar will take place at the Curium Palace Hotel (opposite the Court House) on 17/06/2011 at 15:30.

The seminar will cover the following issues:

1.     General taxation rules with specific attention to banking issues

2.     Taxation of gains from sale of "titles"

3.     Payments of interest and dividends

4.     Special levy on banks

5.     Anticipated tax changes

It is strongly recommended that besides the managers of the banks, financial controllers and/or accountants also participate.
